Impressions is an ongoing series of oil paintings exploring looking into ones past and memory. With heavy reference to found familial photographs and childhood experiences, the small-scale paintings illicit an emotional response and reflection into one’s past. The paintings act as a visual representation of looking back into ones’ childhood and fading memories - a fragmented image, or an impression.
